Definition of Bulky Waste

Bulk waste is defined as "HOUSEHOLD BULKY WASTE" such as furniture, rugs, carpet, and other large household items.

Public Works Regulations for Bulky Waste Collection

  1. One item can be placed at the curbside by 6:00 A.M. the morning of collections.
  2. No lumber, building materials or landscaping materials will be picked up.
  3. Businesses are responsible for their own disposal, with the exception of recyclable items.

Definition of White Goods and Scrap Metal

White Goods are defined as "WHITE METALS", such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc. "SCRAP METALS" will also be collected with white goods. Public Works Regulations for White Goods and Scrap Metal Collection

  1. An appointment must be made for white good and scrap metals to be collected. NO CALL-NO PICK UP!
  2. Doors must be removed from all freezers and refrigerators before they are placed to the curb for pickup.
  3. Items must be placed at the curb the night before or by 6:00 A.M. the day of collection.
